My life would make a great Lifetime movie

You will not find my photo in the 1982 yearbook. I went to school with the same group of people from 3rd grade to 11th grade, therefore I consider myself an Alumni. I left Central between my junior and senior year. I actually graduated from high school in 1982 from Durham High.
I met my husband on Labor Day weekend 1980. We dated during my junior year, then on June 6, 1981 we were married! I moved to Durham with David, we've been married for 28 years!
We have two daughters, Hollie -25 and Lauren- 23. Hollie attended UNC Wilmington. She now works as a bank teller, is divorced, has a daughter Zoie, and lives with us. Lauren attended Durham Tech, is happily married, works as a Vet Tech and has two daughters: Taylor-3 and Emily- 2. She lives about 30 min away.
Along the way, I managed to work full time, take care of two kids and attend college at night. After a few years of this struggle I was able to graduate from Durham Tech with an associate’s degree in nursing and an RN license. Yay! finally. I have worked as a nurse in Duke's NICU, Duke Children's Health Center (Peds Neurosurgery) and now UNC Healthlink. I work during the day taking care of grandkids and in the evening I'm a telephone triage nurse (talking to a lot of very interesting people).
