ROCKWALL, Texas - Vince Lane Cochran, 37, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 22, 2009. He was born Oct. 23, 1971, in Concord, to Budge Alan and Brenda Kay (Harris) Cochran. Vince graduated from Central Cabarrus High School in 1990 and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He worked as a pre-op nurse at the Surgery Center of Mesquite, Texas. He was an amazing husband and father, a devoted nurse and a man of strong faith in the Lord Jesus.

He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Leigh Ann Cochran of Rockwall, Texas; 17-month-old son, Alexander Henry Cochran of Rockwall, Texas; sister, Amy C. Schueneman and husband, Rodney, of Mount Pleasant; brother, Brian Alan Cochran of Concord; nieces, Samantha and Ally Schueneman and Jessica Cochran; and grandparents, Budge and Beulah Cochran and Ruth Harris of Concord. Vince was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Roberta Baptist Church, 3301 Roberta Road, Concord, with the memorial service immediately following at 4 p.m. The Rev. Steve Pennington will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cochran Memorial Fund, c/o Nikki Forrester, 1190 Potter Ave., Rockwall, TX 75087.
